Twitter profile tips
Twitter is more and more evolving as a great way to find jobs and to be found by recruiters and head-hunters. Basically, Twitter becomes another reference check.
Here are some tips to improve your Twitter profile:
- State your job pitch in your Twitter bio and include link to for example LinkedIn profile
- Your avatar should be a professional picture
- Tweet about the fact you are looking for a job as ‘xxxx’
- Be an expert in your field on Twitter
- Don’t misrepresent yourself
- Double check bio profiles before you start following
- Get ‘quality’ instead of ‘quantity’ followers
