1. Behavioural interviews
This is quite a common interview technique which predicts future behaviour based on candidate’s previous behaviour. Usually these types of interview questions are usually example based:
- Give an example of an innovation you have pushed through that made a difference in the work place
- Give an example of how you maintained a customer long term relationship
- Give an example of how you effectively worked under pressure, having to meet various project deadlines
- Give an example of a customer service problem you have encountered and how you solved it
- How do you manage employees you don’t get along with?
- Give an example of when you had to stick by a decision you had made, even though it made you very unpopular
